Nick Cave and Warren Ellis are scoring the upcoming HBO & Sky docu-series The Case Against Adnan. The show is directed by Academy Award nominee Amy Berg (Deliver Us from Evil) and explores the 1999 disappearance and murder of 18-year-old Baltimore County high school student Hae Min Lee, and the subsequent conviction of her ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed. Henrietta Conrad and Jemima Khan are executive producing the project for INSTINCT Productions, alongside Eric Fellner & Tim Bevan (Atonement, Love Actually) and Andrew Stearn (Shameless, Gypsy) for Working Title TV. Cave & Ellis have previously scored Berg’s feature documentary West of Memphis. The Case Against Adnan will premiere later this year on HBO in the U.S. and on Sky in Europe.
