Ramin Djawadi has signed on to score the upcoming Amazon original series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan. The show is developed by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) & Graham Roland (Fringe) based on the Tom Clancy’s character and stars John Krasinksi in the title role, alongside Abbie Cornish, Peter Fonda, Timothy Hutton,Wendell Pierce, Dina Shihabi and Ali Suliman. The show centers on CIA agent Jack Ryan as he uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale. Cuse and Roland are also executive producing the Paramount Television production with Michael Bay, Brad Fuller & Andrew Form (The Purge, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) are producing the project for Platinum Dunes, alongside David Ellison & Dana Goldberg (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Terminator Genisys) and Marcy Ross for Skydance, as well as Mace Neufeld (The Equalizer, Clear and Present Danger), Daniel Sackheim (The X Files, The Americans) and Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game, Passengers) who is also directing the first episode. Djawadi has previously scored the Cuse-produced FX series The Strain. Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will premiere in 2018 on Amazon Prime.
Djawadi (Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans) also continues to score HBO’s Game of Thrones and Westworld and also has Ava DuVernay’s feature A Wrinkle in Time coming up.
