Will Blair and Brooke Blair are reteaming with director Jeremy Saulnier on the upcoming thriller Hold the Dark. The film starring Alexander Skarsgard, James Badge Dale, Jeffrey Wright, Riley Keough and James Bloor is set in a remote Alaskan wilderness in which wolves have taken and killed children and follows a biologist who tracks down a young child. Saulnier also co-wrote the screenplay with the composers’ brother Macon Blair (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore). Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder are producing the project with Eva Maria Daniels, Anish Savjani & Neil Kopp (Wendy and Lucy, Certain Women). Will & Brooke Blair have previously collaborated with Saulnier on the features Murder Party, Blue Ruins and Green Room. Hold the Dark is expected to premiere in 2018 on Netflix.

The Blair Brothers also have the indie drama Jonathan starring Ansel Elgort & Patricia Clarkson and the thriller Wheelman starring Frank Grillo coming up. They also scored the indie thriller Sweet Virginia, which premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be released by IFC Films later this year.
