Ode Records will release a soundtrack album for the Fox television event The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The album features the songs from the two-hour re-imagining of the original movie performed by the film’s cast and written by Richard O’Brien. The soundtrack will be released on October 21, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is directed by Kenny Ortega (This Is It, High School Musical) and stars Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice, Adam Lambert, Ben Vereen, Christina Milian and Tim Curry. The movie executive produced by Ortega, Lou Adler and Gail Berman is a remake of the 1975 cult classic and follows sweethearts Janet and Brd who stumble upon Dr. Frank-n-Furter’s bizarre abode.
