Laura Karpman has recently composed the music for the upcoming romantic comedy Paris Can Wait. The film is written and directed by Eleanor Coppola and stars Diane Lane, Arnaud Viar and Alec Baldwin. The movie follows a Hollywood producer’s wife who reluctantly takes a trip through France which reawakens her senses and lust for life. Fred Roos (St. Vincent, The Outsiders, Rumble Fish, The Black Stallion) is producing the American Zoetrope, Lifetime Films and A+E Studios production with Coppola and Michael Zakin (Life After Beth). Paris Can Wait is expected to premiere later this year.
Karpman is also expected to return for the second season of WGN America’s Underground, which is set to air in 2017.
