Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Irish coming-of-age drama Viva. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Rennicks (Room, Frank, Rebellion). The soundtrack will be released digitally on April 29, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Viva is directed by Paddy Breathnach and stars Jorge Perugorría, Luis Alberto García, Héctor Medina, Luis Manuel Álvarez, Renata (Maikel Machín Blanco) and Laura Alemán. The movie executive produced by Benicio Del Toro is set in Cuba and centers on a gay hairdresser who tries to reconcile with his estranged father while launching a career as a drag performer. The drama, which was Ireland’s entry in the Best Foreign Language category at this past year’s Academy Awards premiered at last year’s Telluride Film Festival and will be released in select theaters on April 29 by Magnolia Pictures. this soundtrack is wonderful but I would like to find a list of the songs used by the drag queens. All those female singers were just phenomenal. It’s such a shame that I can’t find this list anywhere? I saw them during the end-credits at the cinema but I don’t even remember 1 of them! Help please!
