Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album for the fantasy adventure The Huntsman: Winter’s War. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Newton Howard (The Hunger Games, King Kong, Maleficent, The Sixth Sense, Signs) who previously scored 2012’s Snow White and the Huntsman. Also included is a new version of the song Castle by Halsey. The soundtrack will be released on April 22, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Huntsman: Winter’s War is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan and stars Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Nick Frost, Sam Claflin, Rob Brydon and Jessica Chastain. The movie follows Eric the Huntsman – who previously aided Snow White in defeating Ravenna – and his forbidden lover as they set out to stop two evil sisters prepare from conquering the land.
