Steven Price has signed on to score the upcoming comic book movie Suicide Squad. The film is written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, screenwriter of Training Day) and starsJared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Karen Fukuhara, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach and Viola Davis. The movie is based on the DC Comics of the same title and centers on a secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. Charles Roven (The Dark Knight trilogy, Man of Steel, Twelve Monkeys) is producing the project with Richard Suckle (American Hustle, Scooby-Doo). Price who is best known for his Academy Award-winning score for 2013’s Gravity has previously collaborated with Ayer on 2014’s Fury starring Brad Pitt. Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016 by Warner Bros. Awesome! I really liked his score for Fury (even more than Gravity, I think), and I was really looking forward to see what would he do on a superhero movie.

Well, many RCP fans love Steven Price, you know. His style is not really different from RCP, with a nice blend of actual instruments and electronic effects.
