Michael Andrews is composing the music for the upcoming indie drama The Adderall Diaries. The film is directed by Pamela Romanowsky and stars James Franco, Amber Heard, Ed Harris, Christian Slater, Cynthia Nixon and Jim Parrack. The movie centers on the gripping account of a young man navigating the unstable terrain of truth and identity. Romanowsky has also written the screenplay based on the memoir by Stephen Elliott (About Cherry). Franco & Vince Jolivette (Palo Alto, Child of God) are producing the project for Rabbit Bandini Productions, alongside James Reach & Joseph McKelheer for Windowseat Films. Robert Redford serves as an executive producer. The Adderall Diaries is expected to premiere later this year.
Andrews whose previous film scoring credits include Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Neighbors, Bad Teacher and The Heat has also recently scored the first season of HBO’s Togetherness, which currently airs every Sunday night.
