Hollywood Records has released a full soundtrack album for ABC’s musical comedy Galavant. The album features the songs from the show written by Academy Award winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Enchanted) and Glenn Slater and performed by the series’ cast. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. A CD version is set to be released on February 17, 2015 and is available for pre-order here. Galavant is created by Dan Fogelman and stars Joshua Sasse, Mallory Jansen, Karen David, Timothy Omundson, Vinnie Jones and Luke Youngblood. The show centers on a dashing hero who is determined to restore his “Happily Ever After” by going after the evil King Richard, who ruined it the moment he stole the love of his life. The comedy premiered earlier this month and the final two episodes are set to air on January 25.For updates on the series, visit the official show website.

A Movie or TV series with music by Alan Menken always sounds promising (IMHO)!
How could they not include “Hero’s Journey”? That’s by far the best song from the series.
I agree 100%. I hate when record labels do that!
