Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the historical drama Testament of Youth. The album features the film’s original music composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Disconnect, Waltz with Bashir, The Congress). The soundtrack was just released digitally overseas and will come out in the U.S. on February 3, 2015. Visit Amazon to listen to audio clips and pre-order the album. Testament of Youth is directed by James Kent and stars Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, Taron Egerton, Dominic West, Emily Watson, Colin Morgan and Miranda Richardson. The movie is based on the autobiography of Vera Brittain and follows the British writer and pacifist as she served as a Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse in London, France and Malta. The drama premiered at last year’s London Film Festival and opened yesterday in the UK. It was announced earlier this week that Sony Pictures Classics has picked up domestic distribution rights. A release later this year is expected.
