Decca Records will release a soundtrack album for the family movie Paddington. The album features the film’s original score composed by Nick Urata (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Ruby Sparks, I Love You Phillip Morris). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists including James Brown, Steppenwolf and Lionel Richie. The soundtrack will be released in the UK on December 15, 2014 and in the U.S. on January 13, 2015. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD and check out audio clips after the jump. Paddington is written and directed by Paul King and stars Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Nicole Kidman, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, as well as Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington. The movie based on Michael Bond’s best-selling novels tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear who travels to the city in search of a home. The Studiocanal production will be released in the UK on November 28. The Weinstein Company is planning a domestic release on January 16, 2015.
