The details of the soundtrack album for the action comedy sequel 22 Jump Street have been revealed. The album features the songs from the film by artists including Angel Haze feat. Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa, Duck Sauce, Tiësto, Blind Scuba Divers, Nacey, Shermanology, Travis Barker and more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 10, 2014 and physically on June 24 by Casablanca Records. The CD version is now available for pre-order on Amazon. 22 Jump Street is directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller and stars Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Ice Cube, Peter Stormare, Craig Roberts, Amber Stevens and Wyatt Russell. The sequel follows Schmidt and Jenko as they go deep undercover at a local college pretending to be college students. The comedy will be released nationwide on June 13 by Sony Pictures. Once again they snubbed Mark Mothersbaugh from the CD.
No Mothersbaugh 🙁 The score in this film is really good, the themes are developed and there is definitely a significant amount of it. It’s a sin that non of this Mothersbaugh music has seen a digital release at least.
