The series follows an unhappily married female photographer who begins a torrid affair with a lawyer for a powerful family. When he turns out to be defending a murder suspect who is being prosecuted by her husband, the relationship and the case begin a spiraling series of betrayals. Zabel is executive producing the ABC Studios production with Lisa Zwerling (ER, Flash Forward), Alon Aranya & Rob Golenberg (Red Widow). Patty Jenkins who previously collaborated with BT on the Oscar-winning drama Monster starring Charlize Theron has directed the pilot episode. Betrayal is set to premiere on September 29, 2013 and will air every Sunday night on ABC. For updates on the drama, visit the official show website.
