Big Machine Records will release a soundtrack album for the ABC drama Nashville. The album features the songs from the show performed by cast members Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Clare Bowen and Sam Palladio, including the hit single Telescope performed by Panettiere. T Bone Burnett serves as the show’s executive music producer. The soundtrack will be released on December 11, 2012 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out here. Nashville created by Callie Khouri (Thelma & Louise) follows a 40-year-old fading country superstar whose label requires her to team up with a teen sensation or else face the loss of her own tour and the label’s promotion of her latest record. The show has recently been picked up for a full season and currently airs every Wednesday night on ABC. For updates on the series, visit the official show website.
