Robert Duncan is scoring the pilot for the ABC drama Last Resort. The show created by Shawn Ryan (The Shield) is set in the near future and revolves around the crew of a U.S. nuclear submarine who become hunted fugitives after ignoring an order to fire nuclear missiles. They escape to a NATO listening outpost where they publicly declare themselves to be the world’s smallest nuclear nation with nuclear warheads. The series stars Andre Braugher, Scott Speedman, Robert Patrick, Autumn Reeser, Max Adler, Daisy Betts and Dichen Lachman. Karl Gajdusek (Dead Like Me) has co-written the pilot episode and will be executive producing the show with Ryan. Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro) is directing the pilot and also serves as an executive producer. Duncan continues his working relationship with Shawn Ryan on the project. They have previously worked together on the hit show The Unit and most recently, the critic favorites Terriers and The Chicago Code. ABC is expected to decide in May if Last Resort will be picked up for next TV season.

Duncan is currently also scoring the final episodes of the fourth season of the ABC drama Castle. The composer has also written the music for the Ashley Judd-starring action drama Missing, which is currently airing every Thursday night on ABC.
