Fall On Your Sword are scoring the upcoming indie comedy Lola Versus. The film is directed by Daryl Wein (Breaking Upwards) and stars Greta Gerwig as a New Yorker woman who gets dumped by her fiancé a few weeks before their wedding. With the help of her friends, she embarks on a series of unexpected encounters in an attempt to find her place in the world as a single woman approaching 30. Joel Kinnaman, Zoe Lister-Jones, Hamish Linklater, Bill Pullman and Debra Winger are co-starring in the film co-written by Wein and Lister-Jones. Michael London (Sideways, The Illusionist), Janice Williams and Jocelyn Hayes-Simpson (An American Crime) are producing the Groundswell Productions film. Lola Versus is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival next month. Fox Searchlight will release the movie on June 8, 2012.

As previously reported, the composer duo of Will Bates and Phil Mossman who scored last year’s indie sci-fi drama Another Earth also has the drama Nobody Walks starring John Krasinski, Olivia Thirlby, Rosemarie DeWitt coming up. The film premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and has been picked up by Magnolia Pictures for a release later this year. Their other title at the festival, 28 Hotel Rooms has been acquired by Oscilloscope Pictures and is also slated to come out in 2012.
