John Swihart has been tapped to score the upcoming indie comedy For a Good Time, Call….. The film is directed by Jamie Travis who makes his feature directing debut on the film. The movie stars Ari Graynor and Lauren Miller as two women who move in together after a loss of a relationship and a loss of a rent controlled home and start a phone sex line. Justin Long, Mark Webber and James Wolk are co-starring and it has been reported that Seth Rogen will make a cameo appearance in the film. Lauren Miller has also co-written the screenplay for the project with Katie Anne Naylon and both are also serving as producers alongside Josh Kesselman (Death at a Funeral) and Jennifer Weinbaum.It has just been announced yesterday that the movie will have its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January. No word yet on an official release of the film.
Swihart, whose feature credits include Napoleon Dynamite, Youth in Revolt and David O. Russell’s upcoming Nailed, is also currently scoring the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother and ABC Family’s Switched at Birth, which is set to return in January.
