Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack release for the horror thriller The Thing. The album includes the original score by Marco Beltrami. The soundtrack will be released on October 11, 2011 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips can be checked out below. The Thing directed by Matthijs van Heijingen Jr. and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Eric Christian Olsen and Joel Edgerton is a prequel to the 1982 classic directed by John Carpenter.
