UPDATE May 10, 2011: Sony Music will be releasing the soundtrack album on June 21, 2011 in the US. Check back on this page for more details and audio clips. To pre-order the soundtrack, visit Amazon.

While X-Men: First Class is still awaiting an official soundtrack release announcement, the album has appeared on several European online stores over the last couple of days. Sony Classical has been identified as the label and the soundtrack looks to be released on June 6, 2011 in the UK. Another update will be made when the domestic release date and more details about the album’s contents become available. Given the choice to release the soundtrack on Sony’s Classical label, it is safe to say that the album will most likely include Henry Jackman‘s original score. As has been reported by various websites, Take That‘s song Love Love has been chosen as the end credits song for the film and could also be featured on the soundtrack. X-Men: First Class directed by Matthew Vaughn tells the origin story of the characters of the X-Men series including Magneto and Professor X. The film’s cast includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Kevin Bacon, Jennifer Lawrence and Rosamunde Pike. For more information on the movie, which will be released on June 3, visit the official movie webpage.

This soundtrack is the original score of the movie (the background music in the scenes). I’m not sure if they are making a lyrical soundtrack or not. I hope this is helpful for you.
