Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the zombie thriller We Bury the Dead written and directed by Zak Hilditch and starring Daisy Ridley, Brenton Thwaites, Matt Whelan and Mark Coles Smith. The film’s original music is composed by Clark (The Last Panthers, Daniel Isn’t Real, Lisey’s Story, National Treasure: Kiri, Rellik, In Camera). Daniel Hart Scoring Andre Gaines’ ‘The Dutchman’
Daniel Hart (The Green Knight, Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, The Old Man & the Gun, Peter Pan & Wendy, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints) has composed the original music for the upcoming thriller The Dutchman. The film is directed by Andre Gaines (The One and Only Dick Gregory, After Jackie) and stars André Holland, Kate Mara, Zazie Beetz, Aldis Hodge, Stephen McKinley Henderson and Lauren E. Banks. The movie based on the 1964 play of the same title by Amiri Baraka is set on a New York subway and centers on an encounter between a a successful, but troubled black businessman and a seductive white woman who match wits in a sexualized game of cat and mouse that leads to a violent conclusion.
