La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 2004 superhero movie Spider-Man 2 directed by Sam Raimi and starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Alfred Molina, Rosemary Harris and Donna Murphy. The album features the remastered and expanded original score from the sequel composed by Academy Award nominee Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Men in Black, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Alice in Wonderland), including previously unreleased music and alternate tracks. Also included are additional score cues composed by John Debney and Christopher Young. The 2-CD set is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and learn more about the soundtrack, which is limited to 3,000 copies.

Premiere Vinyl Edition of Danny Elfman’s ‘Spider-Man 2’ Score Album Announced
Sony Classical has announced the premiere vinyl edition of the score album for Sam Raimi’s 2004 superhero movie Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Alfred Molina, James Franco, Rosemary Harris and Donna Murphy. The album featuring the film’s original music composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is being released to coincide with the sequel’s 20th anniversary and features a soft-touch jacket with UV spot-gloss webbing on the front cover, along with a 12×12 credit insert showcasing photos from the film. The soundtrack is set to be released this September and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
