Harpal Mudhar & Darren Sng will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Birds of War. The album features the composers’ original music from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, November 9. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Birds of War is directed by Lebanese journalist Janay Boulos & Syrian activist cameraman Abd Alkader Habak and tells their love story, from besieged Aleppo to the confines of a London newsroom, as told through 13 years of personal archives across revolutions, war, and exile. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Special Jury Award for Journalistic Impact, opened in UK theaters this past July and just received an awards-qualifying domestic release earlier this week from 8 Above Films.
