Christine Aufderhaar has released a soundtrack album for the animated documentary Aurora’s Sunrise. The album features the composer’s original score from the film performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and is now available to stream/download on Apple Music/iTunes and most other major digital music services. Aurora’s Sunrise is directed by Inna Sahakyan and tells the of Aurora Mardiganian who survived the Armenian genocide as a teenager and later came to Hollywood where she starred in a silent film based on her account of the massacre that killed around one million Armenians. The movie, which Armenian’s submission in the Best International Feature Film category for next year’s Academy Awards, premiered at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival and made its U.S. debut in October at the Animation Is Film Festival in Hollywood.
