Grammy Award-winning composer, singer/songwriter and pianist Emily Bear (The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical) has made her feature film scoring debut on the upcoming family drama Dog Gone. The movie is directed by Stephen Herek (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Critters) and stars Rob Lowe, Johnny Berchtold, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Nick Peine. Nick Santora (Prison Break, Scorpion) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the Blackjack Films and Story Ink production with Jeremy Kipp Walker (Resort to Love). Bear has previously scored two episodes of the FX on Hulu series The Premise and composed the music for the Artbound episode Life Centered: The Helen Jean Taylor Story. She also wrote original songs for Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase and performed the piano on Mark Isham’s score for A Dog’s Journey. Dog Gone will premiere on January 13, 2023 on Netflix.
