Emergency Music Italy has released a soundtrack album for the Italian period comedy drama Strangeness (La stranezza). The album features the film’s original music composed by Michele Braga (Dogman, Rose Island, Freaks Out, Shadows, Blessed Madness) & Emanuele Bossi (Luna Park). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Strangeness is directed by Roberto Ando and stars Toni Servillo, Salvo Ficarra and Valentino Picone. The movie is set in 1921 and follows Nobel Prize-winning playwright Luigi Pirandello as he travels to Agrigento, where he becomes captured by a world populated by strange personalities, distant memories, and ghostly visions, which inspire him to write his play Six Characters. The dramedy premiered at this year’s Rome Film Festival and opened in Italian theaters this past October.
