Lesley Barber (Manchester by the Sea, You Can Count On Me, Late Night, The Moth Diaries, Mansfield Park) has recently scored the upcoming romantic comedy Maybe I Do. The film marks the feature directorial debut of writer/producer Michael Jacobs (Boy Meets World, Quiz Show) and stars Diane Keaton, Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, William H. Macy, Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey. Ruth B has contributed an original song to the movie, which follows a young couple who have reached the point in their relationship where they are considering the next steps and decide to invite their parents to finally meet. Jacobs also wrote the screenplay and is producing the project with Vincent Newman (We’re the Millers, A Man Apart) and Scott Mednick (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Maybe I Do is set to be released in theaters nationwide on January 27, 2023 by Vertical Entertainment.
