David Holmes (Ocean’s Eleven, Killing Eve, Out of Sight, Haywire, Analyze That, No Sudden Move) has composed the original score for the upcoming crime thriller Marlowe. The film is directed by Neil Jordan (Interview with the Vampire, The Crying Game) and stars Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, Jessica Lange, Danny Huston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Alan Cumming, Ian Hart and Colm Meaney. The movie is set in 1930s Los Angeles and follows the titular private detective who is hired to find the ex-lover of a glamorous heiress, daughter of a well-known movie star. William Monahan (The Departed, Kingdom of Heaven) wrote the screenplay. Alan Moloney (Albert Nobbs), Gary Levinsohn (Jack Reacher, The Patriot), Mark Fasano (Haunt), Philip Kim, Patrick Hibler (The Comeback Trail), Patrick Muldoon and Billy Hines (The Stranded) are producing the project. Marlowe will premiere later this week at the 2022 San Sebastian and Zurich Film Festivals and is set to be released in U.S. theaters on December 2 by Open Road Films/Briarcliff Entertainment.
