Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring, Insidious, Malignant, Annabelle, The Curse of La Llorona, The Unholy, Dark Skies) is making his narrative television scoring debut on the new HBO Max original series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin. The show is developed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) based on the bestselling series of books by Sara Shepard and stars Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, Maia Reficco, Mallory Bechtel, Elena Goode, Sharon Leal, Lea Salonga, Eric Johnson and Alex Aiono. The teen drama introduces a new generation of Liars who are tormented by a masked killer hellbent on punishing them for the sins of their mothers, as well as their own. Aguirre-Sacasa is also executive producing the Warner Bros. Television production with I. Marlene King (who developed the original Pretty Little Liars scored by Michael Suby), Michael Grassi (Katy Keene), Caroline Baron (Capote, Wormwood), and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein (Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries) & Gina Girolamo (You, The 100). Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will premiere on July 28, 2022 on HBO Max.
As previously announced, Bishara also has John R. Leonetti’s horror feature Lullaby and Darren Lynn Bousman’s Cello coming up.
