Federico Jusid (The Secret In Their Eyes, Kidnap, Watership Down, The Head, Life Itself, Loving Pablo, Misconduct) is the composer of the new Argentine limited series Santa Evita. The show is developed by Marcela Guerty & Pamela Rementaria and stars Natalia Oreiro, Ernesto Alterio, Diego Velázquez, Francesc Orella and Darío Grandinetti. The 7-part drama is based on the best-selling book of the same title by Tomás Eloy Martínez and tells the story of Eva Perón’s embalmed body, which remained unburied for three years awaiting the construction of a monument that was never completed. Rodrigo García (Albert Nobbs, In Treatment) who serves as the project’s showrunner and directed the first two episodes is executive producing with Salma Hayek Pinault and José Tamez (Ugly Betty, Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet). Santa Evita will premiere in the U.S. on July 26 on Hulu, on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney’s Star label in the rest of the world.
