Nathan Barr (True Blood, The House with a Clock in Its Walls, The Americans, Hostel, Cabin Fever, Hollywood) & Lisbeth Scott (All My Life, Caroline & Jackie, American Son) have teamed up to score the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s best-selling novel Salem’s Lot. The movie is written and directed by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle Comes Home, It, The Nun) and stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Pilou Asbæk, Bill Camp, Alfre Woodard, Spencer Treat Clark, Jordan Preston Carter, Nicholas Crovetti, Cade Woodward and John Benjamin Hickey. The horror film follows an author who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book, only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a vampire. James Wan (Aquaman, The Conjuring) & Michael Clear (Malignant, Archive 81) are producing the New Line Cinema production for Atomic Monster, alongside Vertigo’s Roy Lee (It, The LEGO Batman Movie) and Michael Wolper (Bates Motel, Roots). Salem’s Lot is set to be released in theaters nationwide on September 9, 2022 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Barr also has Eli Roth’s Borderlands coming up. He also continues to score Hulu’s The Great, which has been renewed for a third season, as well as Amazon’s Carnival Row, which will return for a second season.
