Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life) has composed the original score for the new drama Infinite Storm. The movie also features an original song (entitled Angel) written and performed by singer/songwriter Eliot Sumner who also appears in the film directed by Małgorzata Szumowska (The Other Lamb, Never Gonna Snow Again) and starring Naomi Watts, Billy Howle, Denis O’Hare and Parker Sawyers. The drama based on a true story follows an experienced climber who ascends Mt. Washington, but turns back before she reaches the summit as a huge blizzard approaches and encounters a lone, stranded man on her way down. Joshua Rollins wrote the screenplay. Watts is also producing the project with Maven Screen Media’s Celine Rattray (The Kids Are Alright, Bernie), Trudie Styler (Freak Show, Moon) and Jenny Halper, as well as Peter and Michael Sobiloff. Infinite Storm is being released in theaters nationwide this weekend by Bleecker Street.
