Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Fatman, The Girlfriend Experience, Phoenix Forgotten, Silk Road) are scoring the upcoming Netflix original film The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernath. The movie is directed by Alejandro Brugués (Juan of the Dead) and stars Bob Gunton, Rachel Nichols, Austin Stowell, Briana Middleton, David Walton, Reese Alexander and Peyton List. The horror film follows a billionaire who, on the eve of his 75th birthday, invites his four estranged children back home out of fear that tonight someone – or something – is coming to kill him and puts each of their inheritances on the line to ensure his family will help protect him. Chris LaMont (Hard Kill) and Joe Russo (The Au Pair Nightmare) wrote the screenplay. Paul Schiff (My Cousin Vinny, Mona Lisa Smile) is producing the project. The Last Will and Testament of Charles Abernath will premiere later this year on Netflix.
The composers’ other recent projects include DJ Caruso’s thriller Shut In, which will be released on February 10 by the Daily Wire, as well as the Crunchyroll animated series Freakangels, which just premiered last week.
