Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama Night of the Kings (La Nuit des rois). The album features the film’s original music composed by Olivier Alary (Alllure, Felix and Meira, First Match, A Brother’s Love). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Night of the Kings is written and directed by Philippe Lacôte and stars Denis Lavant, Issaka Sawadogo, Steve Tientcheu and Koné Bakary. The movie, which has recently been shortlisted (as the Ivorian entry) in the Best International Feature Film category for this year’s Academy Awards, tells the story of young man incarcerated in a prison in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire who must spend the whole night recounting a story if he hopes to survive.
