Quartet Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish/French drama Madre. The album features the film’s original music composed by Olivier Arson (The Candidate, May God Save Us, The Zone). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. Madre is co-written and directed by Rodrigo Sorogoyen based on his Academy Award-nominated short of the same name and stars Marta Nieto, Jules Porier and Alex Brendemühl. The movie follows the title character ten years after her son has disappeared when she meets a teenager who reminds her of her missing son. The drama, which premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival, opened in Spanish theaters last fall and will be released in select U.S. theaters and on VOD on October 30 by Strand Releasing.
