2 Lane Records has released a soundtrack album for the German limited series Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood (Oktoberfest 1900). The album features the show’s original score composed by Michael Klaukien (Vares: The Sheriff, Tatort), as well as other music from the drama. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list. Oktoberfest: Beer & Blood is created by Christian Limmer, Ronny Schalk & Alexis von Wittgenstein, directed by Hannu Salonen and stars Misel Maticevic, Martina Gedeck, Klaus Steinbacher, Mercedes Muller, Maximilian Brückner, Brigitte Hobmeier, Markus Krojer and Martin Feifel. The 6-parter is set in 1900 Munich and follows an ambitious brewer who uses brutal tactics on his quest to build a beer hall that will dominate the city’s lucrative Oktoberfest. The series is premiering this week on German television and will debut in the U.S. and other markets on October 1 on Netflix.
