Raffertie (aka Benjamin Stefanski) (White Dragon) has been tapped to score the upcoming British sci-fi thriller Zone 414. The film is directed by Andrew Baird and stars Guy Pearce, Matilda Lutz and Travis Fimmel. The movie is set in the near future in a colony of state-of-the-art humanoid robots and follows a private investigator who has been hired by the colony’s creator to bring his missing daughter home and teams up with a highly advanced and self-aware A.I., to help track her down. Bryan Edward Hill (The Legend of Muay Thai: 9 Satra) wrote the screenplay. Baird is also producing the project with Martin Brennan (The Devil’s Doorway), Jib Polhemus (Gun Shy, Skyfire) and Deborah Kolar. Zone 414 is currently in post-production. No word yet on a release date.
Raffertie has also recently scored the British Amazon original series Alex Rider, which just premiered earlier this month.
