Sony Music will be releasing the official soundtrack album for the drama The Iron Lady. The album includes the original score by composer Thomas Newman, as well as a song from the musical The King and I, one track from the opera Norma and a classical piece by Johann Sebastian Bach. The soundtrack will be released on December 27, 2011 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Audio clips from all tracks on the album can be checked out below. The Iron Lady is directed by Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!) and stars Meryl Streep as former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher. The Weinstein Company will release the film on December 30, 2011 in select cities and expand to additional markets throughout January. For updates on the film, visit the official movie website.
