Modus Recordings/RD Arts and Mammoth Screen have released a soundtrack album for the BBC mini-series The War of the Worlds. The album features selections of the original music from the 3-parter composed by Russ Davies. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The War of the Worlds is directed by Craig Viveiros, written by Peter Harness and stars Eleanor Tomlinson, Rafe Spall, Rupert Graves, Nicholas Le Prevost, Harry Melling, Jonathan Aris and Robert Carlyle. The sci-fi drama is based on H.G. Wells’ novel of the same title and follows a couple as they face the escalating terror of an alien invasion.The series premiered last month in the UK on BBC One.
