Brian Reitzell (Hannibal, Friday Night Lights, 30 Days of Night, Stranger Than Fiction, Beginners) has been hired to score the upcoming horror drama Relic. The film is directed by Natalie Erika James and stars Emily Mortimer, Robyn Nevin and Bella Heathcote. The movie centers on three women – a daughter, mother and grandmother – who are haunted by a manifestation of aged dementia that takes over their family home. James also co-wrote the screenplay with Christian White. Anna McLeish & Sarah Shaw (The Snowtown Murders, Partisan) are producing the project for Carver Films, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal (Nightcrawler, Stronger) and Riva Marker (Beasts of No Nation, Hello, My Name Is Doris) for Nine Stories. Anthony & Joe Russo (Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame) are among the executive producers. Relic is currently in post-production and is expected to premiere later this year.
