Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the drama A Dog’s Journey. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, The Accountant, A River Runs Through It, Quiz Show, 42) and featuring piano solos by Emily Bear. Also included is the original song Fearless by Abby Anderson. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, May 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. A Dog’s Journey is directed by Gail Mancuso and stars Kathryn Prescott, Betty Gilpin, Dennis Quaid, Henry Lau, Marg Helgenberger and Josh Gad as the voice of dog Bailey. The sequel to 2017’s A Dog’s Purpose (scored by Rachel Portman whose main theme is also featured in the new movie) follows Bailey as he finds his new destiny and forms an unbreakable bond that will lead him, and the people he loves, to places they never imagined. The Amblin Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment production will be released in theaters nationwide on May 17 by Universal Pictures. Visit the official movie website for more information.
