WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album for the shark thriller The Meg. The album features the film’s original music composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, The Martian, Kingdom of Heaven, Unstoppable, Man on Fire). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 3 and will be available to download on Amazon. The Meg is directed by Jon Turteltaub and stars Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Rainn Wilson, Ruby Rose, Winston Chao, Page Kennedy, Jessica McNamee, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Robert Taylor and Sophia Shuya Cai. The movie is based on Steve Alten’s novel MEG: A Novel of Deep Terror and centers on an international underwater observation program that is under attack by an unknown danger with its deep-sea submersible disabled and trapped at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
