Quartet Records will release a soundtrack album for the Spanish comedy Holy Goalie (Que baje Dios y lo vea). The album features the film’s original music composed by Fernando Velazquez (The Impossible, Mama, Hercules, A Monster Calls, The Orphanage). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 12 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. Holy Goalie is directed by Curro Velázquez and stars Karra Elejalde, Alain Hernández, Juan Manuel Montilla “El Langui” and Macarena Garcia. The movie follows a young, unorthodox priest who has been given the divine charge of coaching a soccer team of holy (and highly amateur) players. The comedy was released in Spanish theaters last weekend.
