Premiering tonight is the Showtime original series The Chi created by Lena Waithe and starring Jason Mitchell, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Jacob Latimore, Alex Hibbert, Yolonda Ross, Tiffany Boone and Armando Riesco. The show’s original music is composed by Patrick Warren (Bloodworth, According to Spencer). Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Crime Story, American Horror Story) and Todd Haberman (Hemlock Grove, The Charnel House) are composing the show’s original music. Also missing from last week’s roundup was the new Fox comedy LA to Vegas created by Lon Zimmet and starring Dylan McDermott, Kim Matula, Ed Weeks, Nathan Lee Graham, Olivia Macklin and Peter Stormare. The show doesn’t feature an original score. Jingle Jared and Gabriel Kirshoff wrote the main title theme. The comedy revolves around an airline crew and the eccentric passengers who, every weekend, take a no-frills roundtrip flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas with one goal in mind – to come back a winner.
