Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, Baby Driver, Fury) has recently composed the music for the upcoming drama Ophelia. The film is directed by Claire McCarthy (The Waiting City) and stars Daisy Ridley, Naomi Watts, Clive Owen, George MacKay, Tom Felton and Devon Terrell. The movie based on Lisa Klein’s 2006 book of the same name is a new take on the Hamlet story and and focuses on Ophelia, the daughter of Claudius’ chief advisor who falls for Hamlet. Semi Chellas (Mad Men) wrote the screenplay. Daniel Bobker (The Brothers Grimm, The Skeleton Key), Sarah Curtis (Mrs Brown, The Awakening), Ehren Kruger (The Ring, Scream 3) and Paul Hanson (W., Alex Cross) are producing the project. Ophelia is set to premiere in January at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
