Brazilian singer/songwriter Rodrigo Amarante has recently composed the music for the upcoming thriller 7 Days in Entebbe. The film is directed by Jose Padilha (Enemy Squad, RoboCop) and stars Rosamund Pike, Daniel Brühl, Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi and Denis Ménochet. The movie is inspired by the true events of the 1976 hijacking of an Air France flight en route from Tel Aviv to Paris Gregory Burke (’71) wrote the screenplay. Tim Bevan & Eric Fellner (Atonement, The Theory of Everything, Baby Driver, Les Miserables) are producing the Working Title Films production with Kate Solomon (The Program), Michelle Wright and Ron Halpern (The Gunman). Amarante has previously contributed the theme song to the Padilha-produced Netflix series Narcos. 7 Days in Entebbe marks his film scoring debut.
