David Buckley is scoring the upcoming thriller ATM. The movie centers on three co-workers who – on a routine stop at an ATM – unexpectedly end up in a desperate fight for their lives. The film stars Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League), Josh Peck (The Wackness) and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker). The project marks the feature directing debut of David Brooks and is written by Chris Sparling, the screenwriter behind last year’s critically acclaimed thriller Buried. Paul Brooks (The Haunting in Connecticut, Life as We Know It) and Peter Safran (Buried, Meet the Spartans) are producing. The Safran Company and Gold Circle Films production will be released domestically by Lionsgate. No release date has been announced.
As previously reported, Buckley (The Forbidden Kingdom, The Town) also has Joel Schumacher’s thriller Trespass starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman coming up. It has recently been announced that the movie will be released in the US on October 14, 2011.
