Mercury Classics has released a soundtrack album for the BBC drama The Last Post. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Solomon Grey (The Casual Vacancy). The soundtrack is now available digitally overseas (visit the British iTunes store to listen to audio samples). A CD version is set to be released in a couple of weeks and is now available to order on Amazon. The Last Post is created by Peter Moffat and stars Jessica Raine, Jessie Buckley, Stephen Campbell Moore, Ben Miles and Jeremy Neumark Jones. The drama is set in the mid-1960s and centers on the lives of a Royal Military Police unit and their families in Aden, Yemen. series will premiere in the UK this Sunday, October on BBC One. The show will be available in the U.S. on Amazon Prime. No release date has been announced yet.
