John Paesano is scoring Sony Pictures Animation’s upcoming feature The Star. The film is directed by Timothy Reckart and features the voice talent of Steven Yeun, Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Keegan-Michael Key, Kelly Clarkson, Anthony Anderson, Kristin Chenoweth, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey. The movie centers on a small but brave donkey who yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill and, one day, finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. As previously reported, Mariah Carey is providing an original song to the film. The Star will be released in theaters nationwide on November 17, 2017 by Sony Pictures.
