Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary David Lynch: The Art Life. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jonatan Bengta who is also known as the artis The mOOnbird. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 12, 2017. David Lynch: The Art Life is directed by Jon Nguyen and looks at Lynch’s art, music, and early films, shining a light into the dark corners of his unique world and giving audiences a better understanding of the man and the artist. The documentary premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and was released in select theaters this past March by Janus Films. A Criterion Collection Blu-ray and DVD release is expected later this year. Visit the official movie website for more information.
